Neko is 21 and summer is here! We've officially played our first music festival of the season ('Hidden in the Hollow' in Tennessee) and we are starving for more outdoor insanity. Next week is Appalachian Jamwich's festival 'The Mad Tea Party' out in Hedgesville, WV (tickets are still dirt cheap at the last minute so look this up and join us!) Recently we've gotten to play some really nice venues up north (Hamilton, Black Cat, 8x10, Ottobar) and seen some really great turnouts outside of RVA (Charlottesville after Primus and Blacksburg w/ Threesound). We just played an awesome show with our long time friends, The Shack Band, at the Camel and we're looking forward to being back in 2 weeks with the Congress! The new album blows the first one out of the water and we cannot wait to let everyone hear it. Recording is done and we've been working through the details of artwork, album credits, song order, replication and budget. The official public release date will be JULY 25th (but Kickstarter contributors should recieve their copies before then). Meet our new drummer, NEKORO WILLIAMS. He's a young gun from RVA who caught our attention long before we ever dreamed we'd be getting a new drummer. He hits hard, he hits fast, he never sleeps and he loves breakfast as much as the rest of the band! You gotta hear the new PBR.
